Marie Gudme Leth (1895-1997) was an outstanding Danish textile artist who achieved great recognition both in Denmark and internationally. Thanks to her pioneering efforts, fabric printing gained the same status as other handicrafts. Her beautiful patterns fascinate and charm – and are still relevant today. With her designs, she wanted to spread beauty in people’s homes, and with our production we hope to revive her vision.
This pattern, "Kirsebær", is one of Marie Gudme Leth’s most iconic designs, made in 1946.
